Regression Therapy focuses on the origins of troublesome blocks or patterns that keep us from reaching our potential. Experience the most concentrated and powerful tool available to the psychotherapeutic disciplines.

Analytical Psychotherapy helps the client to see things more from a ‘right-brain’ or emotional perspective, increasing awareness of ‘symbolic’ patterns, events or behavior. Psychoanalysis may give understanding or enhance access to the client’s sub-conscious motivations that result in conscious behaviors, thought patterns or behavioral patterns. When the client has a desire to change or transform some of these sub-conscious processes, Neuro-Linguistic Programming can offer a time efficient solution. Frequently we find that deeply imbedded complexes require a deeper, alternative approach. This approach often times naturally leads to Regression Therapy.

Regression Therapy, also called Past-Life Therapy or Past-Life Regression Therapy, is client-centered. It focuses upon the discovery of the origins of a client’s problem through the use of Hypnotherapy, Psychoanalysis, Analytical Psychotherapy and Gestalt Therapy.

In the past few decades, Regression Therapy has begun to emerge as a dynamic and vital therapeutic modality embracing many disciplines, both traditional and non-traditional. It is a hybrid concept, which has created an effective trans-disciplinary approach through a theoretical synthesis of many modalities.

Regression Therapy defies a narrow, rigid definition, but an important characteristic, which distinguishes Past-Life Regression Therapy from other therapeutic approaches, is in its focus upon the discovery of the original causes of a client’s problems. In addition, the acceptance of the theory that present life issues or problems may have their origin in past lives, real or symbolic, and in its willingness to explore this possibility with clients.

"If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you."
---Gospel of Thomas, The Gnostic Gospels

Past Life Regression Therapy Sessions start with a one-hour intake Session, the fee for this session is the same as an astrological counseling session. During this Session a detailed history is taken, questions answered and if you are new to the process, some time will be spent experiencing a guided meditation.

If you are ready to proceed with the Regression process the next Session and all Sessions subsequent are two hours. On occasion one Regression Session may result in significant changes, however it is more likely that additional Sessions could be indicated.

1. What are the fees for Past Life Regression?
a. The initial session I refer to as an Intake Session; this session is one hour in length where a comprehensive history is discussed along with the client’s goals or expectations of PLRT (Past Life Regression Therapy). In addition to a discussion of the clients needs a preliminary exercise is always included to help prepare the client for “altered state” work. On occasion, if a potential client has done altered state work or any type of regression therapy this session is waived along with the fee. The fee for the Intake Session is $85.00. If I believe the client’s issues may better be served with an alternative therapy there would be no charge for the session.
b. The actual PLRT sessions are two hours in length. The fee is $160.00.

2. How many sessions are needed to achieve my goals?
a. Unfortunately, there is no way to determine how many sessions may be indicated. I have had clients that achieved their goal in one session. More complex issues could and usually require several sessions. Certainly no more than one session every two weeks or monthly.

3. What can I do to prepare myself for these sessions?
a. Start to reflect on patterns or themes that have repeated themselves in your life.
b. Try to remember dreams and write them down.
c. Do you have any particular phobias or fears that might appear illogical?
d. If you like to read or prefer listening to tapes any of the following is immensely helpful:
? Roger J. Woolger. Other Lives, Other Selves, Bantam, New York, 1990.
? Roger J. Woolger. Healing Your Past Lives. Sounds True. Boulder, Colorado, 2004
? Roger J. Woolger. Eternal Return (6 tapes), Sounds True, Boulder, Colorado, 1999
? Roger J. Woolger. "Body Psychotherapy and Regression: the Body Remembers Past Lives" in Tree Staunton (ed). Body Psychotherapy. Routlege, London, 2002

4. Can children or adolescents benefit from PLRT?
a. ABSOLUTELY!!! In fact, I find that children (starting at around age 7) have made incredible transformations with regard to physical and emotional issues.
b. Working with children is one of my personal favorites.
c. I also encourage the parent to stay in the room with the child so that the child can feel safe.
d. Often times I will go out to the child’s home and conduct the sessions. They typically feel safer in their own environment.
